Getting there

Please note that prices for the holidays do not include flights. We recommend using www.skyscanner.net to check flights.

Nearest airports:
Narita and Haneda Airports in Tokyo

Nearest train station:
The school is about 10 minutes on foot from Shinjuku Station and 3 minutes from Shinjuku 3-choume station.

From Narita Airport:
Narita Airport is located about 70km east of Tokyo and it’s not too hard to get to the city from there.

The school recommends the Narita Express. This train runs from Narita Airport Terminals 1 and 2 all the way to Shinjuku in just an hour and departs every 30 minutes. It costs roughly 3,000 Yen one way.

From Haneda Airport:
Haneda Airport is a little more convenient than Narita Airport. There are two main methods of getting to Shinjuku Station:

By bus:
Limousine buses depart every 15 minutes throughout the day and will take you to Shinjuku Station in about 40 minutes. If you have heavy suitcases, the school recommend this as a simple method that doesn’t involve changing trains. The bus costs roughly 1,200 Yen one way.

By train:
Getting to Shinjuku by train is a little more inconvenient because you will have to change trains midway. Generally people will travel from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho station (the last stop), then switch to the JR Yamanote line to travel to Shinjuku Station. This only costs about 600 Yen but can be difficult with heavy suitcases.

Transfer service:
The school can arrange for someone to meet you up at either airport and take you to your accommodation, via public transport, for 25,000 Yen and can be added during the booking process.

Full, detailed directions will be shown on your booking confirmation voucher.
